What is the difference between ABS sheet and pvc board?

In engineering plastics, many ABS sheets and pvc boards are chemical polymers, but they are different. Let's explain the difference between ABS board and PVC board.
1, the degree of acid and alkali resistance
The acid and alkali resistance of PVC is better than PP plate, but the texture is brittle and hard, resistant to ultraviolet radiation, can withstand climate change for a long time, is not flammable, and is lightly toxic. However, the PP board is not UV-resistant, and the sunlight will change color when exposed for a long time.
2, temperature difference
A, domestic; ABS sheet temperature range is about 0 to 80 degrees Celsius, PVC range is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, PVC material temperature range is -40 to 95 degrees Celsius.
B. Imported German “New Merlot” brand: The temperature range of ABS sheet is about 0 to 100 degrees Celsius, and the temperature range of PVC is -40 to 95 degrees Celsius.
3, color difference:
ABS sheet material can not be made transparent, the common colors are primary color (natural color of PP material), beige gray, porcelain white and so on. PVC is rich in color, generally dark gray, light gray, beige, ivory, transparent and so on.
4, the scope of application
A. ABS sheet is mainly used in acid and alkali resistant equipment, environmental protection equipment, waste water, exhaust gas discharge equipment, washing tower, clean room, semiconductor factory and related industrial equipment. PP thick plate is widely used in stamping plate and punching mattress. Board and so on.
B. The PVC board is made of PVC and has a honeycomb structure with a cross section. PVC board is mainly used in many industries such as building materials, packaging, and medicine. Such as construction, electroplating equipment, acid and alkali resistant equipment, industrial sewage equipment, chemical industry and so on. PVC can be classified into soft PVC and hard PVC according to the degree of hardness. According to the production process, it can be divided into PVC crust foam board and PVC free foam board.
